Who doesn’t love pizza? But even regular pizza can be boring at times, so I modified this recipe from Weight Watchers and made it into something the family would enjoy and have fun making! It is so easy that you’ll make these muffins a staple at the dinner table.
What you need:
2 cans of 8-10 biscuits
Pizza sauce (I used a small can of garlic tomato sauce instead-cheaper!!)
Various pizza toppings
Non-stick cooking spray
Directions: Preheat the oven according to the directions for the muffins. Spray the muffin tins with non-stick cooking spray and place one uncooked biscuit in each muffin tin slot. Press the biscuits down to slightly flatten. Then add desired sauce (extra spices if wanted-sometimes I add oregano and red pepper flakes). Next, add pizza toppings of your choice and then completely cover with cheese.
Place the pizza muffins in the oven according to the directions on the muffins. Keep an eye on them just to make sure the cheese doesn’t brown too much!
The kids love these because they can be eaten with their hands…parents love them because they are so easy! It’s a win-win situation!
